This 10 x 8 ft reverse-apex shed is a spacious pressure-treated timber building with windowless double doors on the long side. The reverse-apex layout places the doors under the eaves, giving a wide, welcoming entrance and a distinctive look.
Design and Build
Overlap timber cladding gives the shed its traditional character, with each board lapping over the one below to shed rainwater. The timber is pressure treated and carries a 25-year anti-rot guarantee, so it does not need treating before use. Modular panel construction keeps assembly straightforward, with the walls arriving as pre-built sections.
Storage and Access
Double doors set into the 10 ft side open wide for wheelbarrows, mowers, bikes and garden furniture. The windowless design gives uninterrupted wall space for shelving and hooks and keeps the contents out of sight. Inside, the 10 x 8 ft footprint is large enough for a workbench as well as storage.
Weather Protection
The reverse-apex roof sheds water to the front and back, away from the doors and walls, while the overlap boards channel rain down the face of the panels. Pressure-treated timber gives lasting protection against rot and decay.
